Leaf Margin: IncisedIncised Leaf MarginDefinition: Sharply, or irregularly cut into angular serrations along the leaf margin. A torn appearance may be apparent. Description: Frequently these types of leaves look like they have been torn or ripped. The cuts are deeper and more irregular than serrations but more shallow than lobes. Incised margins usually have sinuses less than half way to the midrib.
Leaves both small and large can represent many of the margins covered.
